The Slow Lane Membership

An online gathering place for women who are craving a different pace of life and space to ACTUALLY rest, slow down & welcome stillness every single month.

Healing against the hustle culture, one nap at a time.

We are moving towards deeply craving living life that feels full but without the overwhelm of doing more. We are seeking spaces to slow down, to give ourselves rest and reconnect to our own self. Living in a society that constantly bids for our attention with the messages of not fast enough, not doing enough & not having enough - going against the grain can feel incredibly challenging, lonely & rebellious.

The Slow Lane is a place to feel deeply supported on your journey of reclaiming living life at your own pace. Bringing guided rest practices to the comfort of your own bed, every single month & conversations to your ears to feel less alone in the journey of choosing a life of less is more.

The Slow Lane is a place for busy bodies & tired minds to receive deep rest.

A place for you to be held & supported through guided rest practices that allow for safety, regulation and softening. When we live in such fast paced rhythms, it can take time to feel safe in slowing down and resting, but with enough practice and support it is possible. When the body feels safe, the body will naturally meet rest.

The beautiful part of each monthly practice is that you can be in the comfort of your own home & even better, you're own bed. Florence guides a blend of somatic experiences to tend to you as a WHOLE being not just the physical. Moving through sensory, yoga nidra meditation, visualisation, body sensing, music and silence.

Each deep rest practice we will move with a monthly intention that speaks to parts of our body, our human needs, womanhood or self.

The details & how things work

Monthly live rest practice 

The middle of every month we will gather online at 8pm on a Monday or Wednesday for a deeply supportive and guided rest practice. These sessions will go for a duration of 75 minutes. You don't need anything other than a quiet space to lay down, blanket for warmth and pillow for comfort. All rest practice sessions are recorded and made available for you to replay as many times as you need. 

Ongoing Membership

This community is open for you to join us at anytime, because rest is not a one time thing, it is a forever need and practice. Wherever you are in your journey of Rest, The Slow Lane is a potent support for you to gently invite more moments of slow, rest & time inwards. 

What happens on the LIVE rest practices

These sessions are completely guided and gentle. We will begin always will a grounding and soft breath practice, then we lay down for the guided yoga nidra rest practice & followed by unwinding and returning/waking up. We will have an oracle card pull at the end of the session as well as time to reflect before we close. 

Private podcast access

Within your membership you will have free access to a private podcast. All the recording audios will be uploaded into here so you can access them with ease. There will also be monthly podcast episodes dropped on the first Sunday afternoon of each month sharing mini meditations, personal stories, deeply inspiring and insightful conversations with women, energy readings  & rest reminders. 

Rest Community 

Your membership will also include joining our Membership Community Chat group. A place to meet like minded women, ask questions and share in meaningful conversations. This group is held on Telegram and the link will be invited to you upon joining. 

Adding on the Rest Tools bundle

If you are wanting to bring some more rest support into your toolbox, you can also add on the Rest Tools bundle which will deliver you a giftbox of an Essential Oil, Handpoured Candle & Eye Pillow. These are tools I use in every in person class & so if you'd like to add to your experience this bundle is the perfect addition. *This is not included in the monthly membership fee, this is an added extra at checkout of one time payment $50.

All rest practice calls take place at 8pm on Monday or Wednesdays once a month. Podcast episodes drop on the first Sunday of each month.

Meet Florence

As someone who deeply craved a place to simply take off hats, turn down the noise for a moment and just be, The Slow Lane has truly come from my own desire of reclaiming my own pace & honouring it. I have been holding Rest Experiences for women for the past 5 years both in person and online as classes, workshops and Retreats. I have met women 100's of women now who have felt the call to hop off the hamster wheel. I hope The Slow Lane meets you in that craving of a life that feels full, but with less noise.
