This is a beautiful, healing and transformative ceremony to completely reset your nervous system, give loving rest to your body & welcome stillness and clarity to your mind.
Florence creates each session to suit you/ your groups intention for the booking. It can simply be for rest and relaxation, it can be deep support and holding, it can be for closing the chapter on a part of your journey and welcome new. As the name suggests these experiences are rooted in rest and within that so many beautiful things unravel. Florence is known for creating experiences that give you what you needed but didn't know how much you needed it.

What to expect in a Private Rest Session
All sessions are personalised and intuitively led to meet you where you are.
Sessions are held for 1.5 - 2 hours.
This is an example of what you can experience during Rest Sessions.
~ You are welcomed into a beautiful candle lit space everything set up for you
~ Intuitively guided somatic practice
~ Essential, scalp massage & body work to release tension
~ Guided Yoga Nidra practice that is personalised to honour your intention
NOTE* this is a completely lying down practice in blankets, pillows and eye masks for comfort.
~ We then flow into sound healing & Florence ends the ceremony with tea.
~ Space is welcomed for journaling & reflection or simply allowing yourself to gently come back to the world and soak in the rest medicine
.~ Oracle cards reading *optional* and new intentions are set with guidance for you to move forward throughout the rest of your day, week, month.

1:1 Mum & Bub rest session
The perfect place for a newly post partum mummy to come and let herself be held.
It is such a tender time welcoming a baby into your life - everything has changed and what a gift it is to give yourself time and space to be with it all.
To give yourself rest so you can have your cup filled up and be able to expand your capacity to hold and be with your new little love. This option is available so you can arrive with ease having baby by your side, feed when needed, cuddle & nurture your nervous system so it flows into baby.
What to expect in this Rest Session:

~ laying down meditation for deep rest and relaxation

These private sessions are tailored to meet you & baby where you feel most at ease on the day of your booking. Sessions are held at The Yoga People Studio in Miranda. If booking an in-home session, travel fee may apply.
Private sessions allow you to lead the way & comfort of space to arrive, tend to baby, feed when needed or simply allow me to cuddle and carry bubs while you rest into your practice. Nothing is too much trouble - this time is completely yours.

In todays world it can be so easy to go from one thing to the next without stopping. To be the holder, the carrier and the one keeping it all together ~ but we can only keep going for so long before fatigue, burnout and overwhlem find us. These 1:1 Sacred rest sessions are a place for you to slip off the hats you juggle, press pause on the noise and take time completely for yourself. We can not give, what we do not give ourselves. Let this be a soft place for you to land and be held, supported and welcomed into deep rest. Honouring your body and all it does, giving relief to your mind that is always busy & bringing safety to your nervous system to finally slow down.

Gather your loved ones and experience true deep rest together. A place where you get to put down all that you juggle and melt into a deeply restorative and intentional experience with one another.
So often we gather for birthdays, weddings, funerals - what if we gathered to Rest together? These sessions are personalised to meet you and your group where you are. No need to be guru's or meditating on a hill - you may be a family needing connection, a mums group needing rest, a group of friends looking to do something different than the usual dinner catch up. Not only will you leave feeling well rested and more connected to yourself, you will have your cup filled from deeper conversations with loved ones and time well spent with great company.

What is Yoga Nidra Meditation?
Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a form of guided meditation that has been practiced for centuries. It's a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, induced by a guided meditation.
The most beautiful part is that it is all about comfort and is practiced lying down with blankets, pillows, eye pillows and essential oils. While it can be done simply just lying down, I love to use these extra nurturing rest tools to allow you to move into even deeper rest.
