Florence is a certified Yoga Teacher specialising in Yoga Nidra Meditation for rest and relaxation. Blending gentle yoga, meditation and self care to create a beautiful space for unwinding, slowing down and reconnecting back to self. Each offer is specially created to suit each groups needs. Florence is a down to earth teacher with a deep focus on mindfulness, releasing stress and bringing calm and relaxation to every space.

Florence creates the unique and sacred experiences to help support women on their self care journey. Whether its' needing a complete reset, needing deep rest, needing a moment to take a breather, a craving of connection, time and space to be with grief, loss or challenges, needing to be held and seen- these private bookings are completely curated to your intention & needs.

Florence calls each private experience a Ceremony as it really adds a layer on love, compassion and intention to the practice. We often know ceremonies to be for weddings or big life moments - which are so beautiful, but LIFE and all of the human experience is worthy of being a ceremony too.

Sacred Rest Ceremony

This is a beautiful, healing and transformative ceremony to completely reset your nervous system, give loving rest to your body & welcome stillness and clarity to your mind.

Florence creates each Ceremony to suit you/ your groups intention for the booking. It can simply be for rest and relaxation, it can be deep support and holding, it can be for closing the chapter on a part of your journey and welcome new. As the name suggests these experiences are rooted in rest and within that so many beautiful things unravel. Florence is known for creating experiences that give you what you needed but didn't know how much you needed it.

As women & mothers we are so often the givers to everyone else. We are innate carers. There is something so special about giving yourself space where you get to take that coat of responsibility off and have someone else hold you.

Sacred Ceremony are powerful for reminding women of how important it is to pause amidst the busy. Returning to self and meeting the woman you are today, just as you are. Giving honour to your journey in motherhood and womanhood and all the paths you have walked.

These ceremonies can be a beautiful offering for any woman craving holistic self care, honouring themself in the midst of the juggle, moving through change and transition, perimenopause, maiden to motherhood, navigating grief, moving through separation, managing stress & overwhelm, in deep fatigue, needing support and guidance or simply just wanting a pause button to rest deeply.

What a Sacred Rest Ceremony looks like:​

This is a 90- 120 minute deeply nurturing experience that completely allows you to tend to your whole body, heart & self. 

 

~ You are welcomed into a beautiful candle lit space everything set up for you

~ Foot soak & scrub for grounding

~ Intuitively guided somatic practice 

~ Essential, scalp massage & body work to release tension

~ Rebozo body wrap for deeper relaxation and release

~ Guided Yoga Nidra practice that is personalised to honour your intention

NOTE* this is a completely lying down practice in blankets, pillows and eye masks for comfort.

~ We then flow into sound healing & Florence ends the ceremony with tea. 

~ Space is welcomed for journaling & reflection or simply allowing yourself to gently come back to the world and soak in the rest medicine.

~ Oracle cards are pulled and new intentions are set with guidance for you to move forward throughout the rest of your journey to walk forward with peace and feeling deeply connected to your inner self.

Where does your ceremony take place?

Our surroundings and environment bring their own energy to the ceremony and so I like to hold these sessions in a space where you don't see the dishes, the washing and the distractions. Being able to come to a space where everything is set up and candles are burning and you get to just arrive and exhale out is so beautiful.

These ceremonies take place at a amazing earthly treatment room in Maroubra.

For some women it can feel more grounding to be in familiar space of your own home and space and so if that is you and you are wanting the booking within your home I can also offer this option. (please email before booking to see availability and travel fee).

For in studio bookings Florence is currently taking bookings on Tuesdays, Thursdays & some Fridays.

Tuesday & Thursday 10am or 11.30am

Last Fridays of each month 9.30am or 11am

Bookings need to be booked at least 1 week in advance to allow for prep.

What is Yoga Nidra Meditation?
Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a form of guided meditation that has been practiced for centuries. It's a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, induced by a guided meditation.

The most beautiful part is that it is all about comfort and is practiced lying down with blankets, pillows, eye pillows and essential oils. While it can be done simply just lying down, I love to use these extra nurturing rest tools to allow you to move into even deeper rest.
