Postpartum Siesta:

A 65 minute session for a new mother to enjoy Self Care and Rest within the comfort of home. Guided 45 minute Yoga Nidra and followed by 2 restorative poses to help release tension and stress from the mind and body. A card pull for support and herbal tea at the end of the session to help soak in the rest medicine.

Motherhood Siesta:

A 60 minute Deep Rest Session for your Mums Group to enjoy. You will be guided through a Yoga Nidra Meditation to help unwind the busy mummy mind, to release tension from the body and help bring a deep sense of relaxation so you can truly rest. A completely lying down Rest practice with blankets, pillows, Essential Oils and other rest tools. Motherhood Siesta is for a group of up to 6 Mums. This Group session takes place at your own home.

Small Group Sessions

A 60 minute deep rest and relaxation session for small group of minimum 3 people. Gathering a group of your loved ones for an experience that invites slowing down, inner calm and release of tension and stress. Everything will be provided for you to be in complete comfort. Guided rest meditation that is completely lying down to help you fill your cup, connect back to self and feel lighter and calm.

Private Couple Siesta:

A 65 Deep rest Session for parents to be nourished from the inside out. A completely lying down rest meditation that is guided with all the rest tools provided for you. You will be taken through a guided Yoga Nidra Meditation to help relieve stress, invite calm and have your cups filled so you have more patience, calm and grace for yourself within your parenting journey.

If there is anything we struggle to get enough of, it is Rest. When was the last time you spoke with a sister, aunty or girlfriend and they told you how well rested they are?

After many conversations within my own circle of hearing women tell me how tired they are, how stressed they feel and not remembering the last time they did something just for themselves, i knew this is exactly what I needed to create.

​

Yoga Nidra Meditation is an ancient tool used for deep relaxation and rest. It is a guided Meditation practice that helps to unravel the monkey mind, release tension from the body and take you into a state of deep rest and rejuvenation. Some people practice Yoga Nidra and become completely relaxed they can fall asleep. It is actually more common for occur when first practicing Yoga Nidra and is completely normal. It is even said that just 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra Meditation can be as restful as 4 hours of sleep! Amazing right?!

You will wake from your Rest Session feeling so incredibly held, rejuvenated and nourished.

Yoga Nidra Teacher & Rest Facilitator

Florence is a Certified Yoga Nidra & Rest Facilitator. Florence has been teaching both online and in person rest immersion since 2021 as well as teaching Yoga Classes since 2019.

 

With a deep passion for helping women experience more self care moments, Siesta Sessions was born. As a mother, business owner and wife - Florence knows how busy we can get in our day to day grind, and so she creates Events for women to come and experience the kind of Self Care that fills your cup to the brim without the need to more, but rather reminds you of the beauty of doing less.
