What is Meditation?

Meditation is a type of mind–body or relaxation therapy.
During meditation, you concentrate your mind on one particular thing, such as your breathing, sounds, body movements and feelings or a mantra (chant). This helps train your mind to stay focused and peaceful during times of stress or anxiousness.

Hi friends, Florence here! 
I have created this space to bring Meditation to those who have thought about it/ never heard of it/ tried it once and didn't enjoy it and those wanting to learn more about the practice. Growing up within a Tongan family, Meditation was never something that was taught or really spoken about, mostly because I don't think it was even something my family knew about. 
I found Meditation through Yoga and have been grateful ever since. It has helped me truly begin to know myself and be aware that I have the power of choice to choose how I react and move within my life. I have my best intention to grow Meditation within our community of Pacific Island women to be able to bring mindfulness to begin at home! Teaching women how to manage their thoughts, stressed and emotions means they are better capable to show up as their best self to their partners, children, work place and within the world. 

Meditation Offerings 

Due to COVID, I will be doing an online Learn to Meditate workshop available in September. 
Every Monday I also release Meditation videos to our Youtube Channel so you can practice anytime and anywhere in the world. So if you can't wait for our Course to begin, definitely check out our online videos below.
